Basics of Cloud Computing

What exactly is it, how can you help your business, and if the investment pays off, what exactly is it and how does it work?

When you go back to what cloud computing is, it refers to sharing resources, software, information and networks. Information and data are stored on physical or virtual servers maintained and controlled by a network of physical and / or virtual machines (or “cloud computing” servers) in the cloud.

The stored information can be accessed in a variety of ways, for example via the Internet, mobile devices or cloud storage systems. Cloud computing technology has been around for some time, but only in recent years have its full possibilities been realized.

Uses of Cloud Computing

Cloud computing is one of the most popular ways to access different types of resources over the Internet. Listening to music, watching TV, editing documents, sending emails and accessing data – all this makes cloud computing an important area of application.

There are two types of cloud computing systems: physical and virtual servers.

Virtualization acts as a cloud technology that efficiently utilizes physical resources such as virtual machines, virtual servers and virtual disks.

Cloud Computing in Simple Words

Simply put, cloud computing is the process in which the Internet is used to do tasks that are normally performed on a computer, such as storing and sharing information using software.

In the cloud, users have access to a wide range of cloud services, from cloud storage and data storage to data management and cloud infrastructure.

Why cloud is called cloud

Cloud computing is one of the most popular forms of cloud computing services available on the market today. Cloud service providers allow users to store applications and files on remote servers and access data that can be accessed over the Internet. This is called “cloud computing” because the information that is accessed is in a cloud and the user does not need to be in a particular region to access it.

Cloud solutions come in a variety of forms, including private, public and hybrid cloud solutions.

Public Cloud

A public cloud makes computing resources, servers and storage available via the Internet via a web browser. Public clouds are owned and operated by third parties. Once the software has been purchased and installed on your computer, you can host your applications on secure servers accessed over the Internet. You can use this software in a variety of ways, from web browsers and mobile devices to cloud storage and more.

Leading cloud companies such as Amazon, Google, Microsoft, IBM and Microsoft Azure are examples of public clouds.

Private Cloud

A Private cloud is that can be physically located on company premises or in a data centre. A private on-prem cloud refers to cloud computing resources that are used exclusively by a company or organization.

Cloud Services are Easy to access

The only thing a user needs to know is the cloud computing system and the interface software, which can be as simple as a web browser.

Cloud networks take care of the rest, and you experience cloud computing in no time. SaaS is something most people see in their work and private lives, but it is not the only thing. Popular cloud services that are still used are mail services such as gmail, hotmail and yahoo.
